Hormann offers a comprehensive range of bollard solutions designed to meet diverse residential security and access-control needs. Their offerings cater to varying levels of usage, automation, and site conditions:


Automatic Bollards
  • Electromechanical variants: Ideal for moderate use (~100 movements/day, ~200,000 total cycles).

  • Hydraulic variants: Built for heavy usage (~2,000 movements/day, ~3 million cycles) with reinforced cylinders for added durability.


Semi-Automatic Bollards
  • Perfect for low-frequency access control (~5 movements/day, ~3 million cycles).

  • Operates via a manual push, then automatically re-raises with a gas spring—no power needed.


Removable Bollards
  • Designed for very infrequent use (~2 movements/day).

  • Able to be quickly disassembled without tools, ideal for zones occasionally requiring temporary access (e.g., events).


Fixed Bollards
  • For permanent vehicle exclusion.

  • Available with bottom plates, ground anchoring, or reinforced fittings for durability and even easy removal if needed.


In addition, Hormann also offer reinforced bollards with an increased protection level.
