Hormann have produced a ‘world first’ device allowing homeowners to automate their canopy door.
The intelligently designed lifting arm, added to the tried and tested ProMatic canopy operator, provides a smooth and trouble-free automatic opening of any Hörmann canopy garage door. The device allows people to open and close their garage door with the touch of a button, using BiSecur radio technology.
Along with the convenience of an automated door, the canopy operator provides unrestricted drive-through height with no requirements for additional modifications or an unsightly bow arm device fitted to the rear of the door. If homeowners already have a canopy door installed the unit is easy and are quick to retrofit.
ProMatic 4
With the garage door operator ProMatic 4 and a hand transmitter or radio switch, you can open your garage door quickly and easily. The bright LED lighting and the ventilation position of the operator, which allows you to ventilate your garage automatically, is an especially convenient feature. The ProMatic is particularly energy-saving, using less than 1 watt in standby mode. Optionally, the operator can also be networked with external Smart Home systems.
And thanks to the ProMatic Akku, you can enjoy all the benefits of an automatic operator with garages without a power connection. It can be charged via a regular power outlet or, for extra convenience, via an optional solar module.
