Hormann Barriers

Employee parking spaces, hotel parking spaces, parking areas for residential complexes – Hormann barriers can be used in a variety of ways. 


In combination with the appropriate control device includng simple control elements or via a system solution including ID card management, Hormann systems are ideal for your permanent parking system.


Individual control and management systems as well as customer-specific extensions offer you the right solution for every application. All components are fully tested for all functions in advance, ensuring fast fitting and reliable operation. Hormann barriers offer vandalism protection and, depending on the version, intelligent obstacle detection. Thanks to optional remote control via a web server, you can monitor and control your barrier systems remotely – even via smartphone.


Hormann offers a diverse portfolio of barrier solutions tailored to different applications - from everyday parking management to high security perimeter defense. Their programme offers you automatic barriers up to 10 metres wide and flat, with the option of round and octagonal boom designs for different requirements.


Here's a breakdown:


SH 50 / SH 100

Ideal for low-traffic settings like private parking or residential complexes.

  • SH 50: Oval boom, up to 4.71 m width, ~500 cycles/day.

  • SH 100: Up to 5.75 m width, designed for ~1,000 cycles/day.


SH 300

Built for faster and more intensive operation.

Max 3.75 m width, opens in ~2.4 seconds, supports up to 5,000 cycles/day, and boasts up to 10 million cycles total.


SH 600

Robust model for high durability.

Round boom, max 6.14 m width, less than 8 seconds open/close, up to 1,600 cycles/day, with boom supports on both sides.



These automatic barriers come in flat, round, octagonal, or folding boom styles to suit varying site conditions. They offer quick installation, vandalism protection, and optional smart features (like web‑based remote control and obstacle detection).
