Hormann Series 2000 up and over
When this homeowner called us, they were looking to replace an ageing and unusually sized canopy garage door that had seen better days. The existing door was heavily weathered, with peeling paint, worn hardware, and a tired overall appearance that detracted from the garage and surrounding property.
After discussing the available options and providing information on suitable replacement doors, the customer chose a new Hormann Retractable Up & Over Garage Door in the popular Style 2002 Horizontal Ribbed design, finished in Black.
This project involved an odd-sized garage opening, requiring a carefully specified solution to ensure a perfect fit and smooth operation. Alongside the garage door replacement, a matching side entrance personnel door was also installed to improve both security and aesthetics.
As with many older garages, some additional preparation work was required around the existing framework to achieve the best possible finish while maintaining the structural integrity of the opening.
