After meeting the homeowner at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show, we were invited to discuss options for upgrading their existing garage door. With a particularly wide garage opening, the customer was keen to compare the benefits of a sectional garage door against a roller garage door before making a final decision.
Following a site survey and consultation, the decision was made to install a Hörmann RollMatic T Roller Garage Door in a smart Agate Grey finish, providing a modern appearance, excellent security and maximum internal garage space.
The finished result completely transformed the front of the property, delivering a clean, contemporary look while maintaining practical everyday usability.
Before & After
The original garage door had reached the stage where replacement was the most practical long-term solution. The homeowner wanted a door that would not only improve the appearance of the property but also offer reliable electric operation and make the most of the available space.
By installing the new roller door in a behind-the-opening configuration, we were able to maximise the clear drive-through width while keeping the installation neat and unobtrusive. The customer chose not to have reveal-cladding trims fitted, resulting in a clean, minimalist finish that works perfectly with the brickwork and dark cladding above.
The completed installation left the customer delighted with the result.
